    G&G 184 – “Two captains. One destiny.” We’ve reached the next phase of our Star Trek film retrospective series and it’s time to chat all things Picard and crew! “Arthur_Dent_6x7” naturally returns to give initial thoughts and impressions of Picard season 2 before taking a deep dive into the movie. 8 year old E_HUFFY saw the film in theaters so we get some insight as events unfold, discuss the (earned) use of swearing, favorite moments, ship battles, model work vs. CGI, bridge on the captain, and take on so called “film critics” and solidify their irrelevance! There’s no time to waste in downloading this episode because time is the fire in which we burn!

    G&G 181 – “The battle for peace has begun!” It’s a fatal four-way episode only the size of our heads as “faceoffoley3” and “Arthur_Dent_6x7” collide with E_HUFFY and “thepoorassgamer” to discuss the final movie in the original series saga! Let’s take a casual drive down the plot and discuss our fondest memories of this movie, the good, the bad, the point of no return when watching, directors cuts, whodunnit, and more. Then to wrap it up, the gents give their ranking of the first six Trek films. It’s been an amazing journey but we still have a long way to go. You haven’t experienced Games and Gimmicks until you’ve read it in the original Klingon!

We also try to keep the comparisons to “New Trek” at a minimum, but sometimes it’s just too hard to resist.
